Great gem between Winkler and Morden. Almost too much to see! Great cooks in the kitchen.
Very good Museum.
Very nice locking museum. It has big parking lot and washroom. There are a lot of different historical buildings. The museum also has many different car, tractors and tracks. Volunteers who dress in old fashioned clothes are happy to provide excursion.
PTM has a lot to offer you! Step back in time to learn about the "Good' ol Days" and walk through many old, antique buildings. There are also many volunteers in costume to help you get more out of the experience.
I went to the Thresherman's Museum this afternoon for a homeschool activity day hosted by some of the museum's volunteers inside the dining hall building, the homeschool children and parents dressed up as well as the volunteers, who were all in costume. We learned about: old time schools, how to card wool, use rope to tie various knots, grind cord with a morter and pastel, as well as making 'kring-el'. I would recommend checking this museum out in summertime, there are several old buildings to look through, varied activities, and demonstrations.
