Its a good place to ice fish for crappie when they're on, they ARE ON, otherwise its a long drive in winter to get a coffee from Tims.
Awesome beach for families and Great Fireworks display on July 1st.
The RV sites looked excellent, but the tenting sites lacked trees. There was a picnic table and a fire ring at each site, but no grill rack, so it was impossible to use the fire for dinner... The bathrooms were decent, and the shower stalls were spacious!
Great value, some lots are spacious and lots of room to explore nearby.
Other than the lack of security monitoring speed, every weekend is a great escape from the city.
